Sammy’s Farm Supply began over 40 years ago with three local grain farmers who shared something deeper than a business idea—they shared a way of life. They understood the long days, the early mornings, and the responsibility that comes with caring for the land and the animals that depend on it. They believed that farmers, families, and hardworking people in the community should be able to find what they need close to home. Those three men and their families worked together toward a common goal that would shape the future of Sammy’s.

Originally located at the site of today’s City Hall, Sammy’s quickly became a trusted stop for practical, reliable products and honest service. Built on hard work and strong local roots, the business expanded alongside the people it served.

In the late 1980s, Sammy’s solidified its reputation in a way that truly set it apart. A Sammy’s parts vehicle began traveling to local and surrounding farming communities, bringing essential supplies directly to customers. From nuts and bolts, to drill presses and pressure washers, the Sammy’s truck delivered more than just products—it delivered support to the people who kept farms, homes, and operations running every day.

In 1989, the three families took a major step forward—purchasing land and building the store that still stands today. Over time, as the community’s needs increased, so did Sammy’s. With three expansions to the original building, the store continued to evolve, always guided by the same foundation it was built on.

Today, a second generation of ownership moves Sammy’s forward—a couple who both grew up on grain and cattle farms, with a deep love of the outdoors, agriculture, and animals. They continue to foster the same values Sammy’s was built on. Whether it’s caring for your livestock, pets, fields, or home, pride in a job well done is at the heart of rural life.
